INLINE HOCKEY
Introduction: Inline hockey is a standardized form of roller hockey and is quite similar from its derived source ice hockey. Inline hockey is played by two teams that consist of one goalie, and four skaters, on a rink that is parted into two halves by a center line, comprised of one net at each end of the rink. Time duration of 20-minutes is provided to play the game. Major Differences from Ice Hockey: The chief rules that differentiates inline hockey from ice hockey are as follows:
Sanctioning Bodies: The bodies that are connected to the ice hockey community and to the roller sports community are the two lines of sanctioning bodies for inline hockey. Inline hockey is worldwide governed by International Ice Hockey Federation. |
